The Reason Why I Love Queen Is....!

         Queen has been the best British rock band since The Beatles was broken up. They were the pioneer of music video when the MTV was at the beginning. They sold up incredible number of their records in the world. What is more, they have the record of gathering 250 thousand people in Brazil at one night concert. I like that band the most for some reasons.

        First, most of their songs have good melodies. They are always concentrating their efforts upon making 'good songs'. You can easily recall the melody of many Queen songs: 'Love of My Life', 'We Are The Champions', 'We Will Rock You', 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', 'Radio Ga Ga'. Besides, Many Queen song is used for CM song.

        Second, I can't exclude their ability of decorating songs. The way of their decorating is classified by two methods. One is their gorgeous, sharp and deep chorus. The band uses this chorus for lyrics they want to emphasize. Another is Brian's guitar orchestration which has the same characteristic as their chorus. But Brian's guitar playing is well moderated, which harmonizes with Freddie's overmuch vocal. The songs of using chorus very much are 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Bicycle Race'.

        Third, the existence of Freddie Mercury is very important. He is, so to speak, the King of Queen. His vocal reaches 4 octaves and is very powerful as well as beautiful. In addition, his voice is very boyish and unisex, which attracts listener strongly. On the other side, he is macho in concert. These duplicated characteristics are the very factors of Queen's popularity.

        As mentioned above, I like Queen for three reasons: Impressive melodies, well decorated songs and the vocal and stage manner of Freddie Mercury. Queen gave an impact to my heart and I will always give my best respect to them.
